He’ll answer to “D-Chan!” Edge Home Finance welcomes Air Force veteran Kit “D-Chan” Dounglomchan to the team in the role of Mortgage Loan Originator. Kit’s professional background is truly admirable. Throughout his career in the U.S. Air Force, he served as a Public Affairs Officer, Defense Attache to India, and Airman Leadership School Instructor. Kit is a Distinguished Graduate from the Air Force’s Officer Training School and a Distinguished Graduate from the Public Affairs Officer Qualification Course. As if that wasn’t enough, he is also a published author in the well-known magazine, Reader’s Digest and was recently a lead actor in the Hawaii Shakespeare Festival.
Kit is passionate about sharing the benefits of owning a home and particularly loves the VA home loan program and helping out fellow veterans with their home buying experience. By vowing to always put the customer and their needs first, he brings an extraordinary amount of work ethic and prowess to every buyer’s situation. Kit is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a B.S. in Digital Media Web Technologies and a minor in English. He is also a Distinguished Toastmaster and an Air Force Association member.
Happily married since 2010, Kit has two wonderful children, Leela and Zoey. He enjoys being a serial hobbyist and is always into doing something new like skydiving, cricket, hiking, bodyboarding, writing, and public speaking.
